This 7 Days / 6 Nights Serengeti Great Wildebeest Migration Safari is designed to give you the best chance of witnessing one of the world’s greatest natural events the Great Migration in Serengeti National Park.
The safari takes you through Tanzania’s top wildlife destinations, including Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephants and baobab trees, and the stunning Ngorongoro Crater, known for its high concentration of wildlife and Big Five sightings.

Day by day itinerary
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly met and transferred to Arusha Planet Lodge. After check-in, take time to relax from your journey and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. In the evening, a delicious dinner will be served at the lodge. Overnight stay at Arusha Planet Lodge, preparing you comfortably for the safari adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart Arusha in an our safari vehicle and drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy scenic landscapes and wildlife viewing during game drives, with a picnic lunch served inside the park. Tarangire is famous for elephants and baobab trees. Later, continue to Kankari Lodge for dinner and overnight surrounded by nature.

Day 3: Tarangire – Central Serengeti
Following breakfast, journey toward Central Serengeti, passing through changing landscapes from woodland to vast plains. Enjoy wildlife viewing en route as animals become more abundant closer to the park’s heart. Arrive at Moyo Tented Camp in time to relax and enjoy the wilderness atmosphere. Dinner and overnight at the camp in the Serengeti.

Day 4: Central Serengeti – Northern Serengeti
After breakfast, continue your safari northward to the Northern Serengeti. The drive offers excellent game viewing opportunities, especially big cats and migrating herds depending on the season. Arrive at Sero Tented Camp, set in a remote and scenic location. Enjoy the tranquility of the area, followed by dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 5: Full Day in Northern Serengeti
Begin the day with breakfast, then enjoy a full day exploring Northern Serengeti. Game drives focus on rivers, open plains, and wildlife corridors known for predators and large herbivore herds. Lunch can be enjoyed during the safari or back at camp. Return to Sero Tented Camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Serengeti – Zanzibar
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Fun Beach Hotel on the island’s beautiful coastline. Check in and relax by the ocean. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel.

Day 7: Zanzibar Beach Stay
After breakfast, enjoy a full day at Fun Beach Hotel. Relax on white sandy beaches, swim in the ocean or pool, or choose optional activities such as snorkeling or cultural tours. The day is at leisure, allowing you to unwind after the safari. Dinner and overnight at Fun Beach Hotel.

Day 8: Zanzibar Beach Stay
Enjoy another relaxed day at the hotel after breakfast. Spend time soaking up the sun, walking along the beach, or enjoying the hotel’s amenities. This is a perfect day to embrace island life at your own pace. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel and overnight at Fun Beach Hotel.

Day 9: Departure – Zanzibar
After breakfast, enjoy your final moments at the beach before check-out. You will then be transferred to Zanzibar International Airport for your onward flight. This marks the end of your safari and beach holiday experience, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s wildlife and Zanzibar’s tropical beauty.
