Climb Kilimanjaro by the Machame Route, then celebrate with a safari: Lake Manyara, the Datoga and Hadzabe at Lake Eyasi, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater.
A Kilimanjaro climb by the Machame Route followed by a five-day safari. On safari you visit Lake Manyara, Lake Eyasi, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, with lions, giraffes, buffalo, wildebeest and much more — and meet the Bushmen at Lake Eyasi and the Datoga tribe. An optional Tarangire game drive can be added on the last day.
Our representative meets you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and takes you to the lodge. Later, your Kilimanjaro manager and guide hold a briefing and check your gear. The rest of the day is free.
Drive about two hours past villages, banana and coffee farms to Machame Gate. After the park formalities (porters carry up to 20 kg per person), trek through the rainforest — look for colobus and Sykes monkeys — into heathland. Temperatures can drop to freezing at night.
Heathland and moorland with Kilimanjaro views, lobelia, senecio, giant heather and erica.
Climb to Lava Tower, a volcanic plug over 300 feet tall at an exposed pass near 15,000 feet, for a packed lunch and acclimatisation — many climbers first feel the altitude here. Descend about two hours to Barranco Camp below the Breakfast Wall.
Climb the Barranco Wall (1–1.5 hours; an early start helps avoid crowds), with views of the Heim Glacier and Kibo on a clear day. Hot lunch at Karanga Camp, then on to Barafu.
Wake before midnight and climb slowly — 'pole pole' — to the crater rim, then to Uhuru Peak at sunrise, the Roof of Africa. After photos and a rest, descend to Barafu for lunch and continue to Mweka Camp.
Breakfast, a celebration with your crew, tipping and the certificate ceremony, then down to Mweka Gate and back to Arusha for a hot shower, rest and your safari briefing.
A game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, then a cultural visit to the Datoga tribe at Lake Eyasi.
An early-morning hunting experience with the Bushmen, then drive to the Serengeti through the Ngorongoro highlands.
A full-day game drive with sunrise and sunset safari moments.
A game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, with possible Big Five sightings and a visit to Lake Magadi.
A cultural tour, then your transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport. An optional Tarangire game drive can be added before the transfer.

I had a great experience with Goggi Africa Safari. Everything was well organized from start to finish. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the safari itself was amazing.
We had an incredible day safari in Tarangire National Park with Goggi Africa Safari! The entire experience was smooth, well-organized, and truly unforgettable. A special thank you to our driver, Kevin Ford — he was professional, friendly…
