This four-day safari follows the classic route from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater, then back to Arusha. The dry season, June to October, is the best time for wildlife viewing.
A full-day game drive in Tarangire, famous for its elephant herds and baobab trees, with a picnic lunch in the park. In the evening, drive on to Karatu.
A scenic drive over the Ngorongoro Highlands brings you down to the Serengeti plains in the afternoon, with a game drive on the way to camp.
Morning and afternoon game drives with a chance to see the Big Five and, depending on the season, the wildebeest migration. A hot-air balloon safari is available at extra cost.
Leave early for a half-day game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater, where you may spot the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch, drive back to Arusha.
