Starting in Arusha, this eight-day, seven-night safari visits Tarangire National Park (elephant herds and baobab trees), Lake Manyara National Park (tree-climbing lions and varied habitats), Serengeti National Park (one of the highest wildlife concentrations on Earth) and the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with dense wildlife and Big Five sightings.     Your guide welcomes you at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for the transfer (about an hour) to your hotel. A safari briefing covers the itinerary, safety and what to expect; the rest of the day is for rest and preparation.

  2. Giorno 2Tarangire National Park (full-day game drive)

    Drive from Arusha to Tarangire (about 2–3 hours) for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the park. In the late afternoon, drive to Mto wa Mbu.

    A full-day game drive through groundwater forests, open plains and along the alkaline lake. Look for tree-climbing lions and flamingos, and possibly elephants, hippos, monkeys and many birds.
