Your day trip begins in the morning with pickup from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi, followed by a scenic drive to Materuni Village located at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival, you will meet your local guide who will give a short briefing before starting your adventure.

The journey continues with a guided hike through lush green coffee farms and tropical forests leading to Materuni Waterfalls. Along the way, you will learn about local plants, Chagga culture, and enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Once you reach the waterfalls, you will have time to relax, take photos, and if you wish, swim in the natural pool at the base of the falls.

After enjoying the waterfalls, you will return to the village where you will take part in a traditional coffee tour experience. Here, you will learn how coffee is grown, harvested, roasted, and ground using local methods, followed by tasting freshly brewed organic coffee prepared by the Chagga people.

In the late afternoon, you will have lunch (depending on your package) before starting your drive back to Arusha or Moshi, arriving in the evening with unforgettable memories of your Kilimanjaro day trip Tanzania experience.
