Overview
This 8 Days / 7 Nights Tanzania Safari is designed to offer a rich and immersive wildlife experience across Tanzania’s most iconic destinations.
The journey begins in Arusha and takes you to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. You will then explore Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse ecosystems.
The adventure continues into the vast plains of Serengeti National Park, home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Finally, you will visit the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its dense wildlife population and Big Five sightings.
With professional guides, comfortable accommodations, and well-planned daily activities, this safari offers the perfect combination of adventure, education, and relaxation.
Itinerary
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha (approximately 1 hour drive).
You will receive a detailed safari briefing covering your itinerary, safety guidelines, and what to expect during your journey. This day is reserved for rest and preparation, ensuring you begin your safari refreshed and ready.

Meals on arrival day are flexible and will be arranged based on arrival time
After breakfast, depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2–3 hours).
Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts a variety of wildlife.
During your game drive, you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. Your guide will help track animals and provide insights into their behavior.
A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, allowing you to maximize your time in the wild. In the late afternoon, drive to Mto wa Mbu.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive.
This park is known for its diverse habitats, including groundwater forests, open plains, and the alkaline lake. It is also famous for tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos.
You may also encounter elephants, hippos, monkeys, and a variety of birdlife.
Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before returning to Karatu in the afternoon.

After breakfast, drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands towards Serengeti National Park (approximately 5–6 hours).
This is not just a transfer—it is part of your safari, with wildlife viewing opportunities along the way.
As you enter Serengeti, you will be greeted by vast endless plains teeming with wildlife. Expect to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, and large herds of grazers.
Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a game drive before heading to your camp.

Today is dedicated to exploring the incredible Serengeti National Park.
You will enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, giving you the best chance to witness predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as large herds of wildebeest and zebras.
Depending on the season, you may also follow parts of the Great Wildebeest Migration.
A picnic lunch will be served in the bush, allowing for a full immersive safari experience.

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before departing towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area (approximately 4–5 hours).
The journey offers scenic landscapes and occasional wildlife sightings.
Upon arrival, enjoy breathtaking views from the crater rim.
🛏️ Overnight: Ngorongoro / Karatu

After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive.
This is one of the best places in Africa to see the Big Five due to the high density of wildlife.
You may see lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and if lucky, the rare black rhino.
After a picnic lunch, ascend the crater and return to Arusha or Karatu.
