This trip combines wildlife viewing in northern Tanzania with a beach stay on Zanzibar. Game drives in Tarangire, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater give you a good chance of seeing the Big Five, before you finish on Zanzibar’s white-sand beaches with the warm Indian Ocean, local culture and history.

Día 1Arrival in Arusha
A professional safari guide welcomes you at Kilimanjaro International Airport and takes you to your hotel in Arusha. Rest after check-in, then join an evening briefing about the itinerary, wildlife and safety.

Día 2Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Drive about 2–3 hours to Tarangire for a game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. In the late afternoon, continue to Mto wa Mbu.

Día 3Lake Manyara National Park
A full-day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, through groundwater forest, open plains and along the alkaline lake. Overnight in Karatu.

Día 4Ngorongoro Crater game drive
An early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, with a picnic lunch near a hippo pool. Then climb back out and return to the lodge to relax.

Día 5Karatu to Zanzibar
Drive back to Arusha and fly to Zanzibar. On arrival you are taken to your beach hotel, with the rest of the day free by the ocean.

A free day for swimming and sunbathing, or optional snorkelling, a spice tour or a visit to Stone Town.
