A romantic 11-day honeymoon combining Tanzania’s national parks with Zanzibar’s beaches. It starts near Arusha, Tanzania’s safari hub, then visits Tarangire, the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater — known for their high wildlife density and Big Five sightings — balancing game drives with relaxing lodge stays. It ends in Zanzibar with white-sand beaches, turquoise water, spice culture and sunsets: one of the most complete honeymoon experiences in Africa.
Your private safari guide greets you at the airport and takes you to Arusha, at the foot of Mount Meru. Rest at the hotel.
After breakfast, a full-day game drive in Tarangire: big elephant herds, baobab trees, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and the Tarangire River. In the evening, drive to a lodge on the edge of the Great Rift Valley.
Drive to the Serengeti past the Ngorongoro highlands and Maasai villages, with wildlife visible as soon as you enter the park.
Early morning and afternoon game drives for lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo and possibly rhinos, as well as wildebeest, zebras and antelopes.
A full-day game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater among lakes, grasslands, forests and volcanic walls — lions, elephants, buffalo, hyenas, flamingos and black rhinos — then back to your Rift Valley lodge.
A day to rest together with Rift Valley views, take a nature walk or join an optional cultural visit nearby.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar and on to your beach resort.
Free time for swimming, sunbathing and snorkelling over the coral reefs. Optional: historic Stone Town, the spice farms or a sunset dhow cruise.
Another day at your own pace on the beach or out on the water.
A last full day on the island — perfect for a sunset dhow cruise.
