Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Arusha, or a short domestic flight from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport.

Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide, who will give you a brief introduction before beginning your journey to Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire offers a perfect introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife, known for its iconic baobab trees, vast savannah landscapes, and impressive elephant herds.

Enjoy a full-day game drive through the park, where you may encounter:

☆Giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest

☆Buffalo and a wide variety of wildlife

☆Over 400 species of birds

🍽️ A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, often near the Tarangire River a key water source that attracts many animals, offering excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.

In the late afternoon, you will exit the park and drive towards Karatu, where you will check in at your lodge or camp.

Unwind, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, and relax in a peaceful environment surrounded by nature  the perfect end to your first day on safari.

After an early breakfast, you will drive to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and descend approximately 600 meters into this natural wonder  the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera.

Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, with nearly 30,000 animals living within its walls.

Enjoy a relaxing lunch at a scenic spot near the hippo pool, surrounded by nature and wildlife.

In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater walls and begin your return journey to Arusha.

Be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha

or

Transferred to the airport for your evening flight back to Zanzibar
