📅 Itinerary
You’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Enjoy a relaxing evening with a trip briefing from your guide and dinner at the lodge.
After breakfast, drive to Tarangire for a full-day safari. This park is famous for its massive baobab trees and huge elephant herds. After game viewing, overnight at a nearby lodge or tented camp.
Head to Lake Manyara, known for its tree-climbing lions and flamingo-covered shores. Enjoy a game drive and optional cultural stop in Mto wa Mbu before overnighting near the Great Rift escarpment.
Travel through the highlands into Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you’ll enjoy scenic stops and possibly see wildlife before arriving for an afternoon game drive in central Serengeti.
Spend the entire day on thrilling game drives. Depending on the season, witness parts of the Great Migration, lions, and cheetahs. Picnic lunch in the bush and overnight in a tented camp.
Enjoy a final Serengeti sunrise drive before heading toward Ngorongoro. Stop at a Maasai boma for a cultural visit, then sleep near the crater rim with dramatic views of the caldera below.
Descend into Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari to spot rhinos, elephants, hippos, and more. After lunch, transfer to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Overnight in Stone Town.
Explore the historic alleys of Stone Town with a guided walking tour. Later, transfer to the northern beach town of Nungwi. Check in at your beach resort and unwind.
